Salt Daddy’s — Terms of Service, Service Policies, Text Messaging Terms, and Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 30, 2026

Service Area: Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, and nearby East Valley areas where service is available.

Salt Daddy’s helps homeowners avoid heavy salt bags by delivering water softener salt and refilling residential brine tanks.

1. Terms of Service

1.1 Agreement

By accessing our website, submitting a form, scheduling service, purchasing a one-time delivery, or starting a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service, Service Policies, Text Messaging Terms, and Privacy Policy.

1.2 Who We Are

Salt Daddy’s provides residential water softener salt delivery, brine tank refills, basic brine tank cleaning when included in a plan or offer, and non-diagnostic visual checks.

Salt Daddy’s is not a plumbing contractor. We do not diagnose, repair, install, remove, or modify plumbing, water softeners, electrical components, valves, resin tanks, drain lines, or water treatment systems.

1.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to request service at the property.

1.4 Scope of Service

Depending on the plan or service selected, Salt Daddy’s may:

- Deliver 40–50 lb. bags of water softener salt.

- Carry salt bags to the water softener location when safe access is available.

- Refill the brine tank according to normal residential use and manufacturer guidance.

- Place unused salt neatly near the brine tank or another approved location.

- Remove empty salt bags created during that visit.

- Perform a quick, non-diagnostic visual check of the brine tank area.

- Take before-and-after service photos for verification and customer support.

- Provide basic brine tank cleaning when included in the selected plan, promotion, or service.

Basic brine tank cleaning may include removing accessible salt buildup, wiping accessible surfaces, cleaning the surrounding work area, and using commonly available cleaning products when appropriate. It does not include plumbing work, disassembly, repair, full system cleaning, resin tank service, drain line clearing, or chemical flushing of the water softener system.

1.5 Service Exclusions

Salt Daddy’s does not:

- Install, repair, diagnose, or maintain water softener systems.

- Perform plumbing, electrical, or appliance repair work.

- Guarantee water quality, water softness, water pressure, appliance performance, or removal of hard water spots.

- Adjust system settings unless specifically agreed to and safe to do so.

- Open, disassemble, repair, or replace system components.

- Remove hardened salt, salt bridges, or salt mush when doing so would require tools, disassembly, unsafe force, or risk of damage.

- Move unrelated items, stored property, hazardous materials, or excessive debris.

Water softener performance depends on the customer’s equipment, settings, resin condition, water usage, salt type, plumbing condition, and source water.

1.6 Pricing, Taxes, and Fees

Current pricing, service options, subscription details, additional bag pricing, missed-visit fees, delivery fees, taxes, and promotional offers are shown on our Pricing page, booking page, invoice, written quote, or checkout screen before purchase.

Prices may change in the future. Price changes will not affect a completed one-time purchase, but they may apply to future subscription renewals or future services after notice is provided or after the updated price is displayed before purchase.

If a promotion, discount, free cleaning, or special offer is listed, the offer only applies under the conditions shown with that offer.

1.7 Payment Authorization

By purchasing a one-time service or starting a subscription, you authorize Salt Daddy’s or our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the selected service, subscription, additional bags, taxes, and approved fees.

Cards and payment details are processed by third-party payment providers. Salt Daddy’s does not store full credit card numbers.

If payment fails, we may retry the payment, pause service, cancel future visits, or request an updated payment method.

1.8 Subscriptions and Renewals

Salt Daddy’s may offer monthly, every-other-month, quarterly, six-month, prepaid, promotional, or custom subscription plans.

Unless clearly stated otherwise at signup, subscription plans renew automatically until canceled. “Cancel anytime” means you may cancel future service before the next billing date or scheduled service cutoff. It does not mean past completed services are refunded.

Subscription plans may include a standard number of bags per visit. If your home needs more salt than the plan includes, additional bags may be offered and billed at the additional-bag price shown on the Pricing page, booking page, invoice, or written confirmation.

For discounted six-month plans, prepaid plans, or promotional plans, cancellation and refund terms may differ and will be shown with the offer. Unless otherwise stated, completed services are not refundable, and any refund for prepaid services is limited to the unused portion of services not yet performed, minus any discount, free service, free cleaning, unpaid balance, or promotional value already received.

1.9 Additional Bags

Some homes use more than two bags per month depending on household size, water usage, softener size, hardness level, and system settings.

If additional bags are needed, Salt Daddy’s may notify you before or during service. Additional bags are billed at the current additional-bag rate unless included in your plan. Customers on eligible plans may use flexible billing for extra bags when more salt is needed.

Unused bags may be placed neatly near the brine tank or another approved location for future use.

1.10 Scheduling, Access, and Safety

Customers are responsible for providing accurate service information, including:

- Home address.

- Gate codes or access instructions.

- Water softener location.

- Dog or pet information.

- Safety concerns.

- Preferred delivery location.

- Any unusual conditions such as stairs, steep grades, cracked lids, old tanks, leaks, or limited access.

Customers must provide a safe, clear path to the brine tank. Please remove trip hazards, standing water, debris, fragile items, blocked access, and unrelated stored items. Pets must be secured before arrival.

If we cannot safely access the brine tank, we may complete a driveway or garage drop-off, reschedule, or cancel the visit. If we arrive and access is not available, a missed-visit fee may apply if disclosed before booking or listed on the Pricing/Booking page.

1.11 Driveway, Garage, or Side-Yard Drop-Off

If requested by the customer, or if brine tank access is unavailable or unsafe, Salt Daddy’s may place salt bags in a safe, reachable area such as the driveway, garage, side yard, or another approved location.

Once bags are dropped off in the approved location, responsibility for moving, storing, and using the bags transfers to the customer.

1.12 Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Missed Visits

You may request to cancel, pause, skip, or reschedule service by contacting Salt Daddy’s before the applicable cutoff.

If no cutoff is shown during booking, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled service window.

Late cancellations, no-access arrivals, lockouts, unsafe access, unrestrained pets, incorrect addresses, or unavailable brine tank access may result in a missed-visit fee if that fee was disclosed before booking or listed on the Pricing/Booking page.

If applicable law gives you a cancellation right for a specific type of sale, Salt Daddy’s will honor that right.

1.13 Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

- Keeping the water softener and brine tank accessible.

- Maintaining the water softener system according to manufacturer instructions.

- Informing Salt Daddy’s of known defects, leaks, hazards, or unusual conditions.

- Ensuring the service area is safe for lifting and carrying salt bags.

- Confirming that the selected salt type is appropriate for their system.

- Keeping gates unlocked or access codes accurate on the scheduled service date.

1.14 Salt Types

Salt Daddy’s may provide solar salt, evaporated pellets, crystals, potassium chloride, or other compatible products depending on availability, customer request, and plan selection.

If you require a specific salt type or brand, you must tell us before service. Product availability is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Salt Daddy’s is not responsible for system issues caused by the customer requesting or previously using an incompatible salt type, additives, chemicals, or other products.

1.15 Photos and Service Verification

Salt Daddy’s may take photos of the brine tank, salt level, completed refill, access area, gate/access issue, unsafe condition, or completed drop-off.

Photos are used for service verification, customer support, billing records, staff training, safety documentation, and dispute prevention.

We do not publish identifiable photos of your home, address, family, pets, license plates, or private property for marketing without your permission.

1.16 Service Guarantee

If you believe we did not complete the salt delivery or refill properly, contact us within 48 hours of service.

Our remedy, at our discretion, may be a correction visit, service credit, partial refund, or refund up to the amount paid for the affected visit.

This guarantee does not cover water quality, system performance, pre-existing equipment issues, leaks, damaged lids, salt bridges, faulty valves, resin failure, incorrect settings, plumbing issues, or conditions outside the scope of our service.

1.17 Property Damage and Limitations

Salt Daddy’s is not responsible for pre-existing damage, worn parts, cracked brine tanks, cracked lids, fragile components, leaking valves, blocked drains, salt bridges, salt mush, electrical issues, plumbing issues, resin failure, system malfunction, pest issues, or unsafe access conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salt Daddy’s’ total liability for any claim related to a specific visit is limited to the amount paid for that specific visit.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

1.18 Refunds, Credits, and Billing Disputes

- If service is not performed due to our error, we may provide a refund, credit, or re-service.

- If service is partially completed, we may provide a reasonable partial credit at our discretion.

- Completed deliveries, completed refills, completed drop-offs, and used salt are generally not refundable.

- Billing errors must be reported within 30 days.

- Please contact Salt Daddy’s before initiating a chargeback so we can review and resolve the issue.

- Unjustified chargebacks may be contested with service records, photos, messages, and payment records.

1.19 Professional Boundaries

Salt Daddy’s only enters areas reasonably necessary to access the water softener or complete the requested service.

We do not enter bedrooms, private areas, locked rooms, or unrelated areas unless necessary for access and expressly permitted by the customer.

We may refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, threatening, unsanitary, harassing, or outside the agreed scope of service.

1.20 Weather, Emergencies, and Events Outside Our Control

Severe weather, unsafe road conditions, vehicle issues, illness, emergencies, road closures, supply shortages, or events outside our reasonable control may require rescheduling without penalty to either party.

1.21 Prohibited Conduct

Customers may not use our service for fraudulent bookings, unauthorized payment methods, harassment, threats, unsafe conditions, false claims, or chargebacks without cause.

Salt Daddy’s may refuse, pause, or cancel service for unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, or unreasonable conduct.

1.22 Intellectual Property

Salt Daddy’s name, website content, logos, images, copy, graphics, and branding are owned by Salt Daddy’s or used with permission. You may not copy, modify, reuse, or redistribute them without written permission.

1.23 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Policies from time to time. Updated terms will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes apply going forward and do not change completed services unless required by law.

1.24 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Venue for disputes will be in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

2. Text Messaging Terms

2.1 Text Message Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in to text messages, you agree to receive text messages from Salt Daddy’s related to scheduling, service reminders, arrival updates, customer support, billing questions, account updates, and service follow-up.

Marketing or promotional texts will only be sent if you separately opt in to marketing messages.

Consent to marketing texts is not required to purchase service.

2.2 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your service activity. You may receive messages before, during, or after scheduled service. Subscription customers may receive recurring service reminders and account-related messages.

2.3 Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

2.4 Opt Out and Help

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.

Reply HELP for help, or contact Salt Daddy’s using the contact information below.

After you opt out, we may send one final confirmation text confirming your opt-out request. You may still receive essential non-SMS communications related to active service, billing, safety, or legal notices.

2.5 Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

2.6 SMS Data Privacy

Salt Daddy’s does not sell, rent, or share text messaging originator opt-in data or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Privacy Policy

3.1 Information We Collect

Salt Daddy’s may collect the following information:

- Name.

- Email address.

- Phone number.

- Service address.

- Billing information processed by our payment provider.

- Water softener location.

- Gate codes, access notes, pet information, and service instructions.

- Plan selection, order history, subscription details, and bag count.

- Messages, calls, form submissions, and customer support communications.

- Service photos, refill photos, delivery photos, access photos, and safety documentation.

- Website usage information such as device type, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, cookies, analytics, and similar technical data.

3.2 How We Use Information

We use information to:

- Schedule and provide salt delivery and refill services.

- Process payments and manage subscriptions.

- Confirm access, complete visits, and document service.

- Send reminders, updates, receipts, and customer support messages.

- Respond to questions and service requests.

- Improve our website, offers, routes, customer experience, and operations.

- Prevent fraud, unsafe service conditions, payment disputes, and unauthorized use.

- Comply with tax, accounting, legal, and business record obligations.

- Send marketing only where permitted and with consent when required.

3.3 Gate Codes and Access Notes

Gate codes, access instructions, and water softener location notes are used only to provide service, support customers, document visits, and operate the business.

Please do not provide access instructions that you are not authorized to share. You may request that we update or delete access notes, subject to records we need to keep for legitimate business, legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.

3.4 Service Photos

Service photos are used for verification, customer support, training, safety, billing records, and dispute prevention.

We try to avoid capturing unnecessary personal information. We do not use identifiable home, customer, family, pet, vehicle, or address photos for public marketing without consent.

3.5 Information Sharing

Salt Daddy’s may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the business, including:

- Website and form providers.

- Payment processors.

- Scheduling and routing tools.

- Email and SMS providers.

- Analytics and security tools.

- Accounting, legal, insurance, or business support providers.

These providers may only use the information as needed to provide services to Salt Daddy’s or as legally required.

Salt Daddy’s does not sell personal information.

Salt Daddy’s does not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or text messaging consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

3.6 Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Salt Daddy’s does not store full credit card numbers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

3.7 Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand website traffic, improve pages, measure performance, and support basic website functions.

3.8 Data Retention

Salt Daddy’s keeps information for as long as reasonably needed for service operations, customer support, billing, tax, accounting, legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.

3.9 Your Choices

You may contact Salt Daddy’s to request that we update, correct, or delete your information, subject to information we need to keep for legal, tax, accounting, service, safety, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link when available.

You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP.

3.10 Security

Salt Daddy’s uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer information. No website, payment system, transmission, or storage method is 100% secure.

3.11 Children

Salt Daddy’s services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3.12 State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain states may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. To make a privacy request, contact Salt Daddy’s using the information below.

3.13 International Visitors

Salt Daddy’s serves customers in Arizona, USA. If you access our website from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.

3.14 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.

4. Accessibility
