Salt Daddy’s — Terms of Service, Service Policies, and Privacy Policy

Mission: We handle the heavy lifting of salt so you enjoy soft water without the hassle.
1) Terms of Service
1.1 Agreement
By accessing or using saltdaddys.com or booking a service, you agree to these Terms, our Service Policies, and our Privacy Policy.
1.2 Who we are
Salt Daddy’s provides delivery of water softener salt and in-home brine tank refills. We are not a plumbing contractor and do not perform diagnostics or repairs.
1.3 Eligibility
You must be 18+ and authorized to grant access to the property.
1.4 Scope of service
Deliver 40–50 lb. salt bags.
Carry-in and refill brine tank per manufacturer guidance.
left over salt will be neatly set by brine tank after each delivery.
Quick visual check of brine tank (non-diagnostic).
Photo confirmation of completed refill (for records).
1.5 Exclusions
No installation, maintenance, or repair of softeners.
No electrical or plumbing work.
No guarantee of water quality or appliance performance. Output depends on your softener condition, settings, resin age, and source water.
1.6 Pricing and taxes
Current pricing, fees, and taxes are shown at checkout or on the Pricing page. Prices may change at any time before booking or subscription renewal.
1.7 Payment
We accept card payments through our secure processor. You authorize us to charge your card for one-time services and, for subscriptions, on a recurring basis until canceled.
1.8 Subscriptions and renewals
Cadence: monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly as selected.
Auto-renew: continues until you cancel.
Card on file: required. If a payment fails, we may retry and pause service until resolved.
Changes: update plan or cadence before the next billing date in your account or by contacting us.
1.9 Scheduling, access, and safety
Access: provide gate codes, entry instructions, and softener location.
Safety: clear a safe path to the brine tank and restrain pets.
If we cannot safely access the tank or lift/move bags due to hazards, we may complete a driveway drop-off or reschedule.
1.10 Cancellations, rescheduling, and missed visits
Reschedule/cancel using your confirmation link or by contacting us before the cutoff shown at booking.
Late cancellations, lockouts, or no-access arrivals may incur a missed-visit fee as listed on the Pricing/Booking page.
If we arrive and only a driveway drop-off is possible, the visit is considered completed.
1.11 Salt types and bag counts
Standard: solar or evaporated pellets; potassium chloride on request.
Bag count is estimated at booking and confirmed onsite. Final charge reflects actual bags used.
1.12 Empty bag disposal
We remove empty bags created during your refill. Previously stored trash or unrelated items are excluded.
1.13 Photos and verification
We may take non-identifying photos of the brine tank before/after for service verification and training. We do not publish identifiable photos for marketing without your written consent.
1.14 Service guarantees and remedies
If you are not satisfied with the refill quality, contact us within 48 hours. Our remedy is a revisit or a refund/credit up to the amount paid for that visit, at our discretion.
1.15 Property damage and limitations
We are not responsible for pre-existing issues (leaks, faulty valves, damaged lids, salt bridges, resin failure, wiring). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific visit giving rise to the claim.
1.16 Customer responsibilities
Keep softener and surrounding area reasonably accessible.
Maintain your system per the manufacturer.
Inform us of unusual conditions (old lids, cracked tanks, steps, steep grades).
1.17 Prohibited conduct
No fraudulent bookings, chargebacks without cause, harassment, or unsafe conditions created for staff.
1.18 Intellectual property
Site content, logos, and graphics are owned by Salt Daddy’s. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute without permission.
1.19 Changes to the Terms
We may update Terms at any time. Material changes apply prospectively and will be posted with a new effective date.
1.20 Governing law
Arizona law governs these Terms. Venue is Maricopa County, Arizona.
2) Service Policies (Operational Details)
2.1 Visit prep
Clear a 36″ pathway to the brine tank.
Remove trip hazards, water, or debris in the route.
Secure pets.
2.2 Onsite process
Verify tank and salt level.
Add bags to manufacturer guidance (do not overfill).
Break obvious salt bridges if present and safe to do.
Quick visual check; no disassembly.
2.3 When we pause a refill
We may pause and notify you if we see: standing water, active leaks, cracked tanks, exposed wiring, or unsafe stairs. You may elect driveway drop-off instead.
2.4 Driveway/garage drop-off
If requested or required, we place bags in a safe, reachable area. Responsibility for moving bags indoors shifts to the customer.
2.5 Weather and force majeure
Severe weather, road closures, or events beyond our control may require rescheduling without penalty to either party.
2.6 Communication
We send confirmations and reminders by email/SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS; you will still receive essential transactional emails.
2.7 Professional boundaries
We do not enter bedrooms or private areas unrelated to the softener location unless necessary for access and expressly permitted.
3) Refunds, Credits, and Disputes
Service not performed due to our error: full refund or re-service.
Partial completion: reasonable partial credit.
No-access or late cancellation: missed-visit fee may apply as listed at booking.
Billing errors: report within 30 days for correction.
Chargebacks: please contact us first; unjustified chargebacks may be contested.
4) Privacy Policy
4.1 Information we collect
You provide: name, email, phone, address, access notes, gate codes, plan selection, payment details (processed by our payment provider), messages, and form submissions.
Automatically: device/browser data, IP address, pages viewed, and basic analytics.
From services you connect: scheduling details and order history.
4.2 How we use information
Provide and schedule services, process payments, send confirmations and reminders, improve the site, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
4.3 Legal bases (where applicable)
Contract performance, legitimate interests (service improvement, security), consent (marketing SMS/email), and compliance with legal obligations.
4.4 Sharing with service providers
We share data with vendors who help us run the business, such as:
Website platform and form storage,
Payment processor,
Scheduling tool,
Email/SMS providers,
Analytics and security tools.
They may only use data to perform services for us.
4.5 Payments
Cards are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
4.6 Data retention
We keep service records for as long as needed for operations, tax, and legal reasons, then delete or anonymize them.
4.7 Your choices
Marketing: unsubscribe in emails; reply STOP to SMS.
Access/Update: contact us to request a copy or correction of your information.
Deletion: request deletion; we will delete unless we must keep certain records by law or for legitimate business purposes.
4.8 Cookies and tracking
We use functional cookies and basic analytics. You can control cookies in your browser. Do Not Track signals may not be recognized by our site.
4.9 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure.
4.10 Children
Services are for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
4.11 State privacy rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing. Submit requests via the contact methods below.
4.12 International visitors
We serve Arizona, USA. If you access from outside the U.S., you consent to U.S. processing.
4.13 Changes to this policy
We will post updates with a new effective date. Check for emails, Text messages an or Post on or social media pages.
5) Accessibility
We aim to maintain accessible web content and booking flows. If you encounter barriers, contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative.
